About The Bishop Webcam

Since moving to Bishop, CA. in October of 2006 I've been wanting to add a webcamera to share with family and friends. Well I finally got it up and running! The camera updates every 5 minutes and is positioned in the window sill on the second floor of our home. You are looking west at the dominant peaks above Bishop, CA. in the Eastern Sierra.

The green space behind our home is owned by the LA Department of Water & Power which leases the land to ranchers for cattle grazing. So you'll see cows from time to time in the images! My hope is to provide a link to the Eastern Sierra to those who don't live here so you can check in and get a sense of what's going on up here. I hope you enjoy the cam!
